Hail the King of the Mini Lights The Blackburn Flea

I feel sorry for anyone trying to make a mini light!! Blackburn has created a new level of illumination. The Flea light set is amazingly bright and focused but still maintains a tiny profile and ease of mounting. Packaged as a set, the front mounted easily to my oversized 31.8 handlebars with its silicone backed velcro strap. The rear light came with a similar strap but its metal clip conveniently fit into the slots on the back of my Sealline Urban Backpack. Also included is a unique little charging device that can charge the light off of any 1.5v battery.

The real beauty of this light wasn't apparent until I hit the dark part of my ride home. At only 17 grams the 40 lumen LEDS put out enough light to see by. I won't claim that it is as good as a 100+ lumen light for really seeing the road because that would be a lie. However, if you are in need of a little light (every pun intended) to get you home, look no further. This light doesn't have as many flash modes as some of our brands, lacks the power of its bigger brothers from Blackburn, and isn't as cool in it's design aesthetic as the Knog lights but it's awesome little recharging system and unprecedented power more than make up for any shortcomings.
