OUR SELECTION OF BIKES IS CHOICE

There are a lot of bike brands on the market for you to look at and a lot of bike shops that are packed like a tin of sardines with more bikes than their sales staff know what to do with. We are hand picking the bike lines we stock not just for the bikes themselves but also for what we think of the companies behind the bikes. We believe in quality, design and value, and we believe in the companies whose bikes we carry.

We will never have 600 bikes on the floor or ceiling because we don't think you need to ride 4 different bikes made in the same factory with the same parts with different companies stickers on them... We will only carry the best, coolest, funnest bikes we can find, and we truly believe these are some of the finest bikes you'll find in Washington. None of our staff are paid a commission and with less bikes on the floor, and the majority of our bike sales custom to semi-custom bike builds for your budget you won't have someone trying to sell you a bike that doesn't fit your riding style.

MOUNTAIN BIKES:

ROAD, CYCLOCROSS, TRACK BIKES:

UTILITY, COMMUTING BIKES:

TOURING BIKES:

Our bikes are all ordered and built to spec so you are sure you are on the bike you want and the bike you need. We offer a full year of service on all bikes we sell, and all Mountain Bike sales now come with a 1 year membership to Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance for non-members, and killer specials for existing Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance members.

Intense Mountain Bikes

INTENSE

Intense is a little company in the beautiful metropolis (really?) of Temecula, California. These guys are serious about mountain bikes and the bikes they are turning out prove it. Whether you're pedaling around Bellingham, down the trails off I90, or hitting the local trails around Seattle, their VPP Suspension Systems (licensed and jointly developed by Intense and Santa Cruz) make for some bikes that climb like a hardtail in the truest sense of the word and descend like nobodies business with travel from 4 inches to upward of 9 inches. Their frames are fully manufactured in house in California including not just the frames and welding, but also the machining of all the pivots, bolts and hardware. Solid.

Gunnar Hand Built Steele Bicycles

GUNNAR

Handbuilt steel frames are getting fewer and further between, but the ride quality just cannot be matched. Gunnars are handbuilt in the Waterford factory in Waterford, Wisconsin and benefit from their big brother with semi to full custom paint options and Waterford stainless dropouts. Their custom designed True Temper OX Platinum air-hardened steel alloys make for beautiful riding steel bikes in weights that are downright impressive (the Roadie on our floor with Shimano Ultegra groupo and wheels coming in at just 18.4lbs!). These bikes are elegant and yet have a sporty modern ride. Road, cyclocross, mountain and singles in just about any colour you can imagine within a few weeks.

Lynskey Performance Titanium Road and Mountain Bikes

LYNSKEY PERFORMANCE TITANIUM

If you have been in the shop at all over the past couple months you must have caught a glimpse of one of the Lynskeys we've built. They are jaw-dropping beautiful both from far and close up. The welds on these frames are little beads of beauty running between the tubes, not to mention the incredible tube manipulation these guys are pulling off. All their bikes are constructed of Ti, and are available in any of numerous options from full custom geometry to stock straight off the floor. You want one of these frames: let's just leave it at that.

Baron Bicycles

BARON BICYCLES

Baron Bicycles started in 2008 when Geoff Casey (racing for Wines of Washington) decided that he needed a better winter training/commuting bike for living in the Puget Sound region. Not content with what he found on the market he hit the paper. These bikes ride smooth as butter, sport disk brakes all around for consistent wet weather stopping power and longevity of brake pads, and have classic, understated paint and graphics. There is currently one frame design available and they are all made right over the Cascades in Yakima. Locally owned, locally designed and locally manufactured.

Yeti Cycles - Mountain and Cyclocross bikes

YETI CYCLES

You have heard of Yeti, you have seen a few around and you know you want one. This small performance driven bike builder from Durango, Colorado has been making some of the fastest, most sought after mountain bikes since the eighties. They are small, they are passionate about the mountains and their bikes and we are thrilled to have them in the store. Yeti uses the same AS-R platform on their suspension bikes they have used since 2001, and continue to refine it. We are almost as thrilled about their DJ, XC hardtail and CX bikes as their suspension bikes.

Van Dessel Bicycles

VAN DESSEL

Van Dessel is a little company hailing out of New Jersey that is making some stiff, fast bikes. If you are going to pedal an aluminum bike you want it to be stiff and to perform and these bikes do not disappoint in either. Reasonably priced, great looking and certainly not a bike you've seen a lot of. In particular we are huge fans of their track and cross frames and we think you will be too.

Vassago Bikes are F'n cool

VASSAGO CYCLES

Vassago is a little company based out of California that are making some pretty cool little bikes. Reasonably priced, reasonable materials (steel and Ti of course), and reasonable geometries. They specifically state that riding a Vassago makes you cool and better looking! Who can argue with that? Single-speeds, 29ers and a 'cross bike... what else do you need?

SWOBO Bikes for the Masses

SWOBO

Based in Sausalito, California, SWOBO makes some of the coolest, most utilitarian bikes we've seen. From the full bore, no frills utility of the Dixon (which is destined to be our best selling bike of the year) to the cool-guy, faux-galvy on white, fixed gear Sanchez, SWOBO has their bike line dialed. Their utility bikes are no frills, well spec'd and in subtle colours that bely how fun they are to ride. Every one of their bikes has a bottle opener built into the saddle which is a veritable stamp of kickassedness. With price points from $479 to $949 they won't brake the bank either!

SURLY Steel Bicycles

SURLY

Simply stated, Surly makes some awesome bikes. Their bikes are heavy chromoly. Their frames come in a single colour. Their ride is magic and their prices are downright reasonable. There aren't many shops with Surlys on the floor... but there aren't many shops that don't have several in the back that their employees ride. I have been trying to sell my 1x1 for years and i just can't bring myself to do it. Finally content to put swept back cruiser bars, full-wrap fenders, a coffee holder and a flask holder it is now the mother of all commuters and it carves like a dream! We will be bringing in their Big Dummy Xtracycle bikes as they come available, the venerable Pugsly snow and sand bikes in time for some groomed xc-trail action this winter, and we'll be building up some 1x1's and Cross Checks as time allows, so check back for those! We can also special order frames or bikes any time with general shipping taking 3 days to a week.

WINTER HOURS!
MONTUEWEDTHUFRISATSUN
